Inside and out

Space for the whole family

There's a play area in the rear garden, a large front patio for sunny afternoons, and room for buggies inside. Children are welcome throughout the pub — not corralled into one corner.

In summer, the garden offers outdoor space; in winter, there's room indoors for a pram.

What children can eat

The kids' menu includes popcorn chicken at £6.25, nuggets, scampi and chicken pakora at £7.00, and chicken tikka masala or korma at £8.50 — each with a choice of chips or rice.

Korma and tikka masala are available alongside the rest of the Nepalese kitchen, so children can choose a similar style of dish to other guests at the table.

Highchairs, buggies and getting in

We have highchairs — mention it when you book and we'll have one at your table. There's step-free access from the car park into the bar and dining areas, and an accessible ground-floor toilet.

When to come with children

The kitchen serves 12pm–3pm and 5pm–10pm Tuesday to Friday, 12pm–3pm and 5pm–9pm on Monday, and closes between 3pm and 5pm on weekdays — worth knowing if you're planning around a nap or a school run. Saturday runs straight through from midday, and Sunday roast is served until 4pm.

Early evening is usually the calmest time to bring younger children, and families are welcome right through to the end of kitchen service.

Where you'd rather sit

If you'd rather not be near the door, or you want to be close to the garden so you can see the play area, tell us when you book. We'll seat you where it works — it's a small thing that makes a long lunch with children a lot easier.

Dogs are welcome too

Well-behaved dogs are welcome inside and in the garden, so nobody gets left at home. Tell us when you book and we'll find you a table that works.
